My Eyebrow Routine

Eyebrows can either make or break a look. Everyone has them and when it comes to doing your makeup, having freshly groomed eyebrows can improve your look so much. Most cosmetic lines have either a brow pencil, shadow kit or a mascara like applicator. Depending on your preference, any one of the three can be a perfect product for you and your brows. After applying my foundation, I find that my brows usually look faded and light (since they’re covered with a light layer of powder). I personally don’t like pencils or shadows because they make my brows look over-defined and too dark. So I use a mascara wand to define and fill in my brows. I don’t use a product specifically for brows; it’s actually a brown mascara that I didn’t like for my lashes. I just lightly run it over (in small strokes) my brows until they’re just right. Then I use a brow gel to keep them in place all day. And that’s it. It’s so easy to do your brows that anyone could pick it up right away!

Product Review: MAC’s All Blending Sponge

So, as I said yesterday, I picked up MAC’s All Blending Sponge and said I’d do a review on it.

In all honesty, it’s not as great as I heard it was. It’s a nice product and I’ll continue to use it, but it won’t be a go-to for me. It absorbs most of the foundation into the sponge instead, rather than applying it to my face. Although it blends everything smooth and evenly, I prefer my E.L.F Powder Brush or my MAC 188 stippling brush. I’m going to give it a few more days to play around with it and see if I can build up a full-coverage application with the sponge, but overall I wasn’t really impressed with this product.
